His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej recovers from gallbladder removal surgery

BANGKOK, 6 October 2014 (NNT) – His Majesty the King is recuperating at Siriraj Hospital following a surgery to remove his gallbladder.

The Bureau of the Royal Household issued a statement saying His Majesty’s fever is lower this morning and his blood pressure is returning to normal. A team of doctors continue to administer antibiotics and an intravenous drip.
