General Prayut bids farewell to Army

BANGKOK, Sept 29 – Gen Prayuth Chan-o-cha, prime minister and chief of the National Council for Peace and Order, who will remain in the military service on his last day tomorrow said he was proud of his military service that lasted 38 years.

Gen Prayuth said he would like those remaining in the service to restore peace in the far South within this year to prepare Thailand’s participation in the ASEAN Community next year.
