Spanish credit card scam exposed in Pattaya

CHONBURI, 28 June 2014 (NNT) – At a press briefing, the acting Provincial Police Bureau Region 2 Commissioner Sanit Mahathavorn, announced that Fernando Manuel Navaro, 56, had been arrested with a data recorder, 109 recorded electronic cards and 1,000 unrecorded cards.

The police pressed charges against the Spanish national for making false electronic cards and possessing devices or materials for making fake cards to use or retrieve data from genuine cards. He may face a jail sentence of 1-5 years and a fine of 20,000-100,000 baht, or both.
