Toll exempted for motorists on expressways and highways during Songkran

BANGKOK, 10 April 2014 (NNT) – The Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (EXAT) and the Highway Department have announced that no tolls will be collected on a number of expressways and inter-provincial motorways during the Songkran holiday.

According to the Highway Department, it will not collect toll on Highway No 7 (Chon Buri – Bang Na) and Highway No 9 (Bang Pa-in – Bang Phli outer ring road) for seven days from 4pm on April 10 to midnight of April 16.
