Summer storms hit 9 Thai provinces, DPM to evaluate damage and assist victims

BANGKOK, 4 April 2014 (NNT) – The Disaster Prevention and Meditation Department (DPM) has reported 9 provinces hit by summer storms. Officials have been dispatched to evaluate damage in the areas as well as give assistance to victims in need.

According to Mr. Chatchai Phromlert, Director-General of the DPM, the summer storms are causing heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong wind blasts in 9 provinces, 13 districts and 23 sub-districts.
