BANGKOK, 28 March 2014 (NNT) – A consensus has been reached by 53 political parties that the re-election of MPs should be organized within 60 days after the nullification of the February 2 poll.

A total of 53 parties convened today to resolve various issues surrounding the general election. Following the meeting, legal advisor to the Pheu Thai Party Pokin Palakul disclosed that the attending parties came to a conclusion to have the new election royal decree issued as quickly as possible. He said the decree should specify that the voting must take place within 45-60 days after the Constitutional Court resolved to annul the February 2 poll.
