CHIANG RAI, 8 March 2014 (NNT) – Police have confiscated more than 800,000 tablets of methamphetamine in an operation in the northern border province of Chiang Rai.
Police officers clashed with a group of armed men who were carrying seven packs from Myanmar into Thai territory on Saturday.
After a 20 minute long gun fight, the bodies of six traffickers were found along with three pistols and a grenade.
