PM Yingluck Shinawatra dismisses coup plot with army

BANGKOK, Jan 7 – Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra today dismissed a report that she has asked the army to carry out a coup d’etat to end the political crisis.

Ms Yingluck said the reports were just rumours, adding that a coup cannot solve Thailand’s political deadlock.
