DSI delays asking Court to issue arrest warrants for 33 protest leaders

BANGKOK, Jan 8 – The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) delayed the process to seek arrest warrants for 33 anti-government leaders to tomorrow to prepare the necessary paperwork.

DSI director general Tarit Pengdith said the investigators are preparing the documents and reviewing the petitions to seek court’s approval for arrest warrants for 33 leaders of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) who failed to appear before DSI investigators to acknowledge charges related to their anti-government protest without appropriate reasons.
