Former Democrat MP Suthep calls for intensified measures to root out “Thaksin Regime”

BANGKOK, Nov 16 – Former Democrat MP Suthep Thaugsuban announced last night at the anti-government demonstration on Rajdamnoen Avenue that the group would intensify measures to root out what he called the “Thaksin Regime” from Thailand.

Speaking before thousands of protesters on the stage at the Democracy Monument, Suthep said that after 16 days of demonstration, he has realised the power of the public who stood against the government-sponsored Amnesty Bill.
