Pair of ethnic Hmong nabbed in Chiang Rai with 300,000 meth pills

CHIANG MAI, July 6 – Thai police apprehended two Hmong ethnic minorities for smuggling 300,000 methamphetamine pills from a northern province en route to the capital.

Provincial Police Region 5 commander Pol Lt Gen Suthep Dechraksa said the pair of Hmong, identified as Suchart Seaya, 23, and Saensam Saelee, 20, were arrested in Chiang Rai province, with meth pills hidden in dog food sacks in their pick-up truck destined for Bangkok.
