Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra to visit Sweden, Belgium during 4-7 March
BANGKOK, 3 March 2013 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has left the country for an official visit to Europe to promote closer bilateral ties in various areas.
After joining the Pheu Thai party’s Bangkok gubernatorial poll candidate in declaring the defeat and congratulating Sukhumbhand Paribatra for his victory, PM Yingluck Shinawatra and a number of Cabinet ministers as well as representatives from agricultural, fashion, energy, medical and banking sectors departed Bangkok for an official trip to Europe.
The Thai delegation, led by the Premier, will first fly to the Kingdom of Sweden to attend several meetings before leaving the country on March 5.
The next destination of the trip is the Kingdom of Belgium, where PM Yingluck and the Thai delegation will stay until March 6. They are scheduled to return to Thailand on March 7.
This official trip to both European countries is intended to further talks on trade and investment expansion into the European Union.
