A Russian was found dead in a Central Pattaya Hotel on Tuesday afternoon and Police suspect he was murdered.

Just after 5pm Police were called to an apartment complex in Soi Baukao and were directed to a 2nd floor room. Lying on the floor, close to the bed was the body of Mr. Andrei Komarov aged 39, an architect from St. Petersburg. He was wearing only trousers but no shirt. Blood was coming from his eyes and nose and bruising was seen across his throat and on his left arm. Evidence of a struggle inside the room was also seen but it appears that nothing of value was taken.
