Death toll from fire at Myanmar camp in Mae Hong Son rises to 45

MAE HONG SON, March 23 – The death toll from a blaze at Myanmar refugee camp in Mae Hong Son has risen to 45, with seriously injured increasing by five to 11.

Mae Hong Son’s Khun Yuam assistant district chief for security Samrueng Sudsawat said local officials who rushed to provide assistance to the displaced Myanmar nationals in the camp reported that 45 of them were found dead from the fire while seriously injured victims has raised by five to 11 with 96 slightly injured.
