More than 30 searchers took about an hour to find a lost German tourist in a Koh Phangan forest. After the sun set, it became too dark for her to find her way out. After calling for help with her cell phone, she was later found by the rescue party that included high-powered tourism officials.

Officers were notified by the staff at the Cooky Bungalow in Phangan island, after they received a call from the lost guest, identified as Dr. Lydia Sarah Sophia Cog, from Germany.
