BANGKOK, Nov 2 – Noppadon Pattama, legal advisor to ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, confirmed today that the former prime minister is scheduled to meet Myanmar President Thein Sein in Naypyidaw next week.

Speaking at a news briefing at the ruling Pheu Thai Party headquarters, Mr Noppadon said the former Thai premier will meet the Myanmar leader next Thursday during a three-day private visit to Myanmar’s Tachilek bordering the northern Thai province of Chiang Rai from Nov 8 to Nov 10.
