SA KAEO, Feb 10 – A South Korean man charged with embezzlement in his homeland was detained Friday by Thai authorities at an immigration checkpoint in the eastern province of Sa Kaeo, bordering Cambodia.

Kim Dong Woo, 34 year-old South Korean national, was taken into custody at the immigration checkpoint in Aranyaprathet district while he was showing his passport to the officials for stamp before leaving Thailand for Cambodia, according to Pol Lt Col Somsak Jiamkorakot, Sa Kaeo immigration police inspector.
