Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra to pay state visit to India

BANGKOK, Jan 23 – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will visit India tomorrow, staying until Thursday to commemorate India’s Republic Day and to strengthen the two nations’ strategic partnership.

Government spokesperson Thitima Chaisang said Ms Yingluck has been invited as Chief Guest to attend Indian state functions on Republic Day Jan 26.
