Thailand Pledges Crackdown on Anti-Monarchy Websites

Thailand’s deputy prime minister suggested that signal blocker devices be purchased for the crackdown on anti-monarchy websites that use overseas servers.

Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobumrung held a second meeting today with the administrative body on cyber crimes to draw up preventive measures against anti monarchy content on the internet.

The deputy premier said website operators who post anti-monarchy messages or pictures always say they are using overseas servers so they cannot remove the content.
