Bangkok’s Ha Yak Lat Phrao intersection under 40cm water

BANGKOK, Nov 4 – The Thai capital began Friday morning with further encroachment of advancing floodwaters, moving slowly but steadily to cover larger areas.

Ha Yak Lat Phrao intersection is flooded to a depth of 40cm, while water moving south from the drainage network to enter Central Plaza Lat Phrao, inching onward to the Flood Relief Operations Centre (FROC) at the Ministry of Energy, and floodwater rose by 10cm at the offices of PTT, the national energy company, on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
