A French tourist sustained facial injuries during an assault and robbery which took place in the early hours of Monday on Pattaya Beach.

Mr. Phillip aged 58 reported the crime to Pattaya Police Station and explained he was on his way to his Hotel and admitted to being in a drunken state.

He was approached by three transsexuals who offered him sexual services which Mr. Phillip rejected.
