BANGKOK, 19 May 2011 (NNT) – Pheu Thai Party’s prime minister candidate Yingluck Shinawatra will start the election campaign for her party very soon after she has registered herself with the Election Commission as a party-listed MP candidate.

The leading candidate stated that she will start her political campaigns by visiting local people after the official registration with the EC this morning. She announced that she will visit the northern provinces of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai first this weekend.

Regarding the challenge from the Democrat Party for a debate between her and Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Ms Yingluck responded that she will consider the issue later on after elaborating policies of the party with people.
