Phuket, Thailand Not on Tsunami Warning List
WORD ON JAPAN TSUNAMI: Phuket and Thailand are not listed as being at risk from a tsunami in the latest tsunami warning issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center about 30 minutes ago.
The “Widespread Tsunami Warning” was issued to government authorities across the region following the massive earthquake, and confirmation that ‘destructive waves’ had been generated.
