Government relieved as EU spares Thai airlines flight ban

The government breathed a sigh of relief on Thursday after Thai Airways International (THAI) and MJets which serve European destinations were spared bans in an audit by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

THAI and MJets are the only Thai-registered airlines operating flights to Europe. EASA conducts audits every six months.
