BANGKOK — Toyota Motor Co has chosen Thailand as the third location worldwide for manufacturing its Prius hybrid cars which will go on sale on the local market next month, company executives said Thursday.

“Thailand will become the third country in the world that will serve as the manufacturing base of Prius this November,” Toyota Motor Thailand president Kyoichi Tanada said.
