PM invites Thais to celebrate Magha Puja Day at temples

BANGKOK, 24th February 2018 (NNT) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday invited Thai people to celebrate Magha Puja Day in the traditional manner by going to temples and doing good for others.

In celebration of the upcoming Magha Puja Day on March 1st, the prime minister has asked members of the Thai public to follow the Buddhist tradition by visiting monasteries and taking part in merit making ceremonies and religious activities such as alms offering, circumambulation, prayer ceremonies, sermon sessions, and meditation.
