Former central bank governor Vijit Supinit passes away

Former governor of the Bank of Thailand Vijit Supinit passed away on Sunday evening (Feb 11). He was 77. He died from liver failure after suffering from blood clot.

Funeral ceremony is held at Wat Phra Srimahathat in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district for seven days before cremation.
