Officials prepare for more possible flooding despite only 6 provinces still under water

BANGKOK, 18 January 2017 (NNT) – Six provinces remain impacted by flooding with most reporting waters have completely subsided but state agencies are to continue to keep a close eye on the situation as heavy rains are expected starting today.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has reported only Phattalung, Songkla, Trang, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Prachuapkirikan are still suffering from flood conditions.
