EU satisfied with Thailand’s solutions to human trafficking

BANGKOK, 8 November 2016 (NNT) – The European Union has commended Thailand for its solutions to human trafficking, especially the solutions on reintegration of human trafficking victims back to the society.

Permanent Secretary for Social Development and Human Trafficking Maitri Inthusut and EU representative Luisa Ragher presided over a meeting to exchange knowledge and experience on reintegration of human trafficking victims. The meeting was part of the Migration EU eXpertise (MIEUX) project which is an academic collaboration between Thailand and the EU to protect people affected by human trafficking.
