Protesters lay siege of a soy milk shop accusing the owner’s son of lese majeste

A large group of people gathered in front of a soybean milk shop in downtown Phuket late Friday night to protest against the shopowner’s son whom they alleged of posting a message his Facebook deemed violating the lese majeste law.

The protest eventually prompted a team of police and military personnel led by Pol Col Kamol Osiri to be rushed to the scene in Muang district to maintain peace and order.
