Two people were injured in an explosion in the Republic Square in Turkey’s Antalya, local media report.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to NTV, the blast occurred late on Wednesday. Antalya police chief Muduru Cemil Tonbul said the blast was triggered by a simple explosive device.

An investigation into the indecent is underway. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
