BANGKOK, 18 August 2016 (NNT) – The Deputy Prime Minister for Security has assured that investigators are working at an accelerated pace to bring those behind bombings across 7 southern provinces to justice but has affirmed no erroneous arrests will take place.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Gen Prawit Wongsuwan has stated that authorities are making steady progress in their investigation into those behind a string of bombings that took place across the Thai south last week, urging the public not to pressure investigators at this time as they are seeking clarity on the incidents. He assured that authorities are working to make sure all arrests are justified and follow due process.
