Ceremonies held to mark historic 70th anniversary of HM the King’s accession

BANGKOK, 9 June 2016 (NNT) – The government this morning held an alms giving ceremony and prayer to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his accession as well as to mark the upcoming birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen.

Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha traveled to the Grand Palace this morning to join his Cabinet, the Chairman of the National Legislative Assembly, Head of the Court of Justice, Military Top Brass and citizens in giving alms to 9 monks, led by the Supreme Patriarch of the nation, as well as to 770 newly ordained monks.
