PM Prayut rejects rumors of a plan to set up new political party

BANGKOK, 14 April 2016 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has denied rumors that he is considering setting up a new political party to take part in the upcoming election.

Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha asserted that no new political party will be set up for the next election and that no one in the National Council for Peace and Order has expressed an intention to join politics in the future.
