Doctors at Khon Kaen provincial hospital have been trying their best to save the life of a new-born baby boy who was stabbed 14 times and buried in a rice field in a village in Waeng Yai district of Khon Kaen.

Dr Charnchai Chanvorachaikul, the director of the hospital, said Wednesday that the baby was admitted for treatment at the hospital at about 9 pm Tuesday night.
