Bangkok Police to decisively crackdown on illegal parking

BANGKOK, 14 December 2015 (NNT) – The Metropolitan Police division has announced a campaign to decisively crack down on illegal parking on Bangkok’s major roads.

Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Pol Maj Gen Niphon Cherinphon ordered law enforcement officers to place locks on illegally parked vehicles and issue traffic tickets to cars parked illegally in front of Nikhom Makkasan Market after reports of numerous vehicles parked illegally in non-parking zones, causing traffic congestion in the area.
