Thai Army bans firecracker sales in deep South during Ramadan

YALA, 6 June 2015 (NNT) – The Army Region 4 has imposed a ban on fire cracker sales in all Southern border provinces during Ramadan.

Col Pramote Prom-in, spokesman for the Region 4 Internal Security Operations Command, said the ban was to enable Muslim fellows to perform religious practices undisturbed during the holy fasting period.
