Police install emergency call button at popular malls

BANGKOK, Feb 17 – The Metropolitan Police Bureau has installed a so called ‘Push for Life’ button at a popular shopping centre in Bangkok for the public to report an emergency or ask for assistance.

The device installed in front of the Central Plaza Grand Rama IX shopping center is part of the police’s ‘Police Help Me’ project, aimed at improving public safety.

Metropolitan Police Bureau deputy commissioner Pol Maj Gen Chantawit Ramasut presided over a ceremony to install the ‘Push for Life’ button at the shopping centre on Tuesday.
