BANGKOK, 27 June 2014 (NNT) – Dr. Yongyuth Maiyalap, of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)’s public relations unit said that the project to repair old diesel carriages will be delayed as the diesel carriages are too old to repair, and new diesel trains should be purchased instead.

Dr. Yongyuth added that the NCPO believes that it will make more economic sense if the project is adjusted so that new carriages are bought instead, and now about 20 diesel trains have been purchased and are currently being checked for quality and efficiency.
