Thailand’s NBTC Prepares for Digital TV Auction

BANGKOK, 8 October 2013 (NNT) – The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) is preparing to hold a digital television auction by the end of this year.

Speaking at the celebration of the second anniversary of NBTC, Chairman of NBTC Air Chief Marshal Thares Punsri explained that after the digital signal bidding, licenses would be issued for 24 commercial digital channels.
