The Traffic Police Command warned people in Bangkok yesterday to watch out for members of a motorcycle gang deliberately staging accidents by hitting other vehicles with a lone driver or rider waiting for lights to change at intersections at night.

They said the group was doing this in order to extort “damage costs” from motorists.
