Thailand’s flood death toll rises to 45

BANGKOK, April 3 – The Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand (EMIT) reported 45 persons killed in the southern flood while psychiatrists have been dispatched to help flood victims.

Jurin Laksanawisit, Public Health Minister said 19 deaths were reported in Nakhon Si Thammarat, 10 in Surat Thani, 9 in Krabi, 3 in Phatthalung and two each in Trang and Chumporn provinces.
