Police to step up control of traffic and crime during New Year

BANGKOK, 18 December 2015 (NNT) – As the New Year holidays are approaching, police have affirmed that they will strive to reduce road casualties and prevent crime from happening.

Royal Thai Police Deputy Spokesperson Pol Maj Gen Songpol Wattanachai revealed that the police have been instructed by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha to closely oversee the management of traffic this holiday season when a large number of people will be traveling.
