Thai Airways orders Airbus, Boeing aircraft worth $3.9bn

Thai Airways has announced plans to acquire 37 new aircraft over the next six years at a cost of £2.4bn. The airline will buy six Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and five A320-200s for delivery from 2014 and four A350-900s for delivery from 2016. It will lease a further 22 aircraft. Read more: Travelmole.com
