Train Collision Claims Life of Local Musician at Korat Railway Crossing

NAKHON RATCHASIMA – A Bangkok-bound passenger train struck a pickup truck at a railway crossing in Nakhon Ratchasima early Friday morning, resulting in the death of a local musician. The incident occurred at approximately 3:55 AM near Kudjik Public Park in Sung Noen District, where emergency responders discovered the vehicle completely crushed and the driver fatally trapped inside.

The victim was identified as Chukeiyrati Adsungnoen, a musician from Makluea Mai Subdistrict, whose profession was confirmed by the presence of three guitar bags recovered from the wreckage. Rescue teams from the Sawang Saeng Tham Foundation and Sung Noen Hospital required over an hour to extricate the body using specialized hydraulic equipment.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the circumstances that led the pickup to enter the crossing as the train approached.
