The incident, captured on video by a passenger, has sparked widespread praise for their courage and quick action.

The students noticed a man using his phone to record under a female passenger’s skirt and immediately restrained him in the aisle. They instructed the driver to keep the doors closed while reviewing the illicit footage on the suspect’s device before alerting police.
Officers arrived promptly and took the man into custody. The victim filed a formal complaint, and an investigation is underway. The video of the intervention went viral on social media, with netizens commending the students’ bravery and integrity.

On Friday, UTCC publicly honored the students on its Facebook page, calling them “true heroes without superpowers.” The university emphasized the importance of social responsibility and praised their actions as a model for others.
The incident follows a similar case at Central Westgate mall in Nonthaburi on Friday, where a 21-year-old man jumped from the fourth floor after being caught filming under a woman’s skirt. He sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
