Pattaya police responded to the incident at approximately 2 a.m. on September 12, 2025, after receiving a distress call from a security guard. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was found with serious wounds and received immediate first aid before being transported to a nearby hospital.
According to the victim’s account, he had initially arranged to meet two individuals for companionship but was confronted by four people who demanded 40,000 baht (approximately £10,000). When he refused, an argument escalated into a violent assault, during which one assailant allegedly used a knife. The group fled before police arrived.
