Foreigners’ Violent Attack on Thai Man Sparks Outrage in Phuket
At approximately 9:35 a.m., police and rescue workers from the Kusontham Phuket Foundation responded to reports of a fight between two foreign tourists. They found Australian national Brett William John Amery bleeding on the floor with a 5-centimeter head wound. Witnesses reported that the French suspect fled on a black Yamaha Nmax motorcycle with Phuket license plate 1 Kor 6178 before authorities arrived.
Amery received initial medical treatment at the scene and was transported to Patong Hospital but declined further care after admission. Police have summoned him for a formal statement as they work to determine the cause of the confrontation.
Trust me, you do not want it to turn into France..
Phuket already looks like France with all the French Arabs running around speeding on scooters . Smoking weed everywhere. Being rude and disrespecting Thai people and Thai culture.

The search for the French tourist continues, with no leads on his whereabouts as of this morning. This incident follows another recent case involving foreign tourists: on August 10, six Arab nationals were apprehended after a violent dispute with a local motorcycle rental operator. Although Kathu District Office announced their pending deportation on August 18, Patong Police have not yet filed formal charges, pending a medical report.
