The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation today revealed that a total of 36 people have died in floodings that have devastated 12 southern provinces since early this year.

Director of the department Mr Chatchai Phromlert confirmed 36 have died and one was still missing in the massive flooding in the South.
