More rainfalls expected in northeastern region, not affected by Typhoon Megi

UDON THANI, 26 September 2016 (NNT) – The provincial weather station of Udon Thani has issued an advisory for the general public to be aware of the potential consequences from heavy and continued rainfall, but assured that Typhoon Megi will not affect the country.

Director of the Udon Thani Meteorological Center Paiboon Kraisee said that a monsoon trough is forecast to prevail over the lower northern region, upper central region, and the northeastern region, in addition to the southwestern monsoon currently moving over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
